Last month I celebrated another trip around the sun, so I just want to take a moment to say thank you. Morritt’s has always been more than a resort to me. This is our community, our family, and a place where our favourite memories are made. I feel incredibly lucky. Here’s to many more years of sunshine, adventures, and good company. I hope to see you all very soon.

Let’s give a big shoutout to our outstanding team members who went above and beyond in April, May, and June!

April – Special Recognition Award

We’re proud to recognise Omar Brown (HSK Team), Gawayne Hamilton (Security), and Opal Watler (Housekeeping) for their vigilance and teamwork.

When bicycles were recently stolen from the property, Opal noticed suspicious activity and immediately reported it. Omar and Gawayne then took swift action. Not only did they recover the bikes, but they also cleaned and returned them in great condition. This is true teamwork in action, and we’re grateful for their dedication!

Front of House: Lizeth Dilbert (Housekeeping) – Since 2011, Lizeth has been a friendly and reliable face at the towel hut, always greeting guests with a smile and lending a hand to housekeeping and laundry when needed.

Back of House: Kelvin Walker (Maintenance) – A key part of the Farrington studio renovations, Kelvin delivered top-quality work while consistently going above expectations.

Front of House: Mary Abanes (Front Desk) – Known for her professionalism and warm guest service, Mary has become a trusted and dependable member of the front desk team since joining in October 2024.

Back of House: Jaiganesh Selvaraj (Kitchen, F&B) – Jaiganesh stepped up during a staffing shortage, helping in multiple areas of the kitchen to keep things running smoothly, without ever being asked.
