CCAPs Spotlight – Western Regional Progress Update

We’re excited to share that someComprehensive Climate Action Plans (CCAPs)have been successfully completed across the Western U.S. and Tribal regions, marking major milestones in climate resilience and planning.

California:

San Benito County has finalized its CCAP as part of a regional effort with Santa Clara County. This plan outlines local strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building climate resilience.

Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, and Tribal CCAPs:

While specific CCAPs for other western states are still in progress, these states maintain public access to environmental and planning records. Tribal partners continue to engage through programs like theTribal Access Program (TAP), which supports data sharing and climate-related planning.
