Bring your best furry friend to The Water Mine for a dogs-only swimming extravaganza on Saturday, September 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.at Lake Fairfax Park, 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston, Virginia.
The Water Mine’s pools, sprays, showers and water playgrounds are the ultimate way for you and your dog to end the summer season. Whether your pooch prefers to frolic through the sprays or float in the water, Dog Daze is the perfect place to make more dog-loving friends, entertain the whole family and have a doggone good time.
The entry is $15 per dog and all proceeds benefit parks through the Fairfax County Park Foundation. See the rules and Buy tickets in advance to secure your dog’s spot. If capacity allows, tickets may be purchased at the door.

The Fairfax County Park Authority and Park Foundation representatives recently recognized Arlene Evans and Barry Dewberry, Signature Benefactors of the Moon Gate Garden at FCPA's Green Spring Gardens park. Their substantial investment in excess of $500,000 for this stone feature, surrounding landscaping and plantings resulted in the stunning architectural and horticultural feature!
The FCPF Eakin Philanthropy Award, recognizing visionary financial and material contributions that significantly enhance Fairfax County parks, was presented to Arlene and Barry on site at the Moon Gate Garden.

On Saturday, August 1, Fairfax County Park and Foundation representatives gathered for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting of the 2026 Fairfax County Carnival & Fair at Frying Pan Farm Park.
The Fairfax County Carnival and Fair, attracting more than 27,000 people, is the FCPA's most highly-attended program!
