Mission Statement

We collaborate to serve people experiencing homelessness and at risk of homelessness in Racine County through housing, prevention, emergency, and supportive services.

This mailing contains an updated Director Report (v2.0). As some of you are aware, the end of June brought about the sudden hospitalization of my brother-in-law, which resulted in his death. I ask for your grace, as my thoughts have been divided between supporting my sister during her husband's sudden death, understanding the new HUD CoC NOFO, organizing the local HUD CoC funding competition, preparing for pending changes to our CoC, and attending various state and nationwide meetings/partnerships. I have updated my report to include the NOFO activities and a few other activities I inadvertently omitted. Again, I ask for your grace as I catch up on my daily work and reporting. THE AGENDA AND MINUTES HAVE NOT CHANGED.

Lift Team will be hosting 3 clinics in Racine through the end of 2026.

Come to a free legal clinic on;

Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Our LIFT team and staff attorney will be there to help individuals navigate the process of getting their driver’s license reinstated and address small claims cases.

Event Details:

Date & Time: Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 (11:00 AM- 2:00 PM)

Location: 2nd floor study rooms in the Racine Public Library (75 7th St, Racine, WI 53403)

No registration is required, but spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
