🌟 Welcome Back, VAA Family! 🌟

Welcome back to a brand-new school year—and a warm welcome to all of our new families and students! I pray your summer was filled with sunshine, rest, and special time with loved ones. 💛

Here at VAA, we had a busy and exciting summer with Brainy Blast Summer Camp. Thank you to the families who joined us—it was a huge success, and yes, we’re bringing it back next year! 🎉

This year marks my 4th year serving as your principal—wow, how time flies when you’re doing what you love! Every day, I thank God for this dream job. I’ve been preparing all summer for the amazing year ahead.

We’ve already completed our first week of school, and what a week it has been! The energy on the blue carpet was welcoming, the joy of reconnecting with friends (and meeting new ones), and the mini concert from Mr. Mike 🎶 made our first day unforgettable. What a blessing to start strong—thank You, Lord, for such a wonderful beginning!

Our theme for this school year is:

✨ Shine Bright: Illuminate with Innovation (Matthew 5:14-16) ✨

Together, we will shine brightly in everything we do, reflecting the light of our Creator. 🌟

I’m especially excited to share that our Innovation Lab is almost finished! Stay tuned for details on the grand opening—we want every family to be part of this celebration. You’ll also see a flyer below with ways to donate to our lab. Every gift makes a difference in creating hands-on, innovative experiences for our students. 🙌 THANK YOU to all who have donated to help make this lab possible.

Don’t forget: Back to School Night is Tuesday, 6:30–7:30 PM. This is a wonderful time to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and connect as a school family. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Thank you for choosing VAA. 💙💛 Without your children and your support, there would be no VAA. I’m so grateful for each of you, and I can’t wait to see all the ways God will bless our school this year. Let’s shine bright together! ✨

With joy and gratitude,

E Holland

📢 Important Tuition Reminder

Dear Parents,

Our accountant, Mr. John Anbiah, kindly reminds all families to set up your FACTS financial agreement by this Friday evening. This step is essential so that we can bill your tuition properly.

If your FACTS agreement is not completed by Friday, your first tuition payment for August 2025 will need to be made directly at the school office (by check or credit card).

We greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth start to the school year!

1st Day of School

Our Teachers’ First Day Too!

Just like our students, some of our teachers experienced their very first day at VAA...Mrs. Makau, Ms. Pineda, and Ms. Bri! For the first time, they had the joy of welcoming families on the blue carpet and greeting parents with smiles. They even took a special “first day photo” to mark the occasion. We are so happy to welcome them into our VAA family. They had a wonderful day and are excited for many more first days to come!
