Celebrating Spiritual Development
Wednesdays Evenings have resumed... along with most other Spiritual Development Groups for the Fall Semester. In fact, between all of the groups (including Nursery, Elementary, and Youth) that meet Sunday through Thursday, well over 350 people attended Spiritual Development Groups last week! This is a statistic worth celebrating because it means that the greatest endeavor in the universe is taking place: the pursuit of God. We are looking forward to many days of growing closer to Him this fall semester!

Men's Ministry: Indoor Tailgating Afternoon
Sunday, September 13 at Noon
An afternoon of football, great snacks, and games in the gym! Imagine our gym transformed into a giant tailgating zone- but with air conditioning! We'll have gameday tents set up, corn hole, and more. You're invited. No sign-up necessary, just bring a snack, dip, or dessert! Youth guys invited as well. Free!

Women's Evening of Steak and Stories!
Friday, September 18, 6:00pm
Women of all ages (youth included) are invited to an evening of dinner, live background music, and guided conversation in the gym featuring a delicious steak dinner with roasted potatoes, a salad bar, and cheesecake. Childcare will not be available for this event. Please register and pay ($15) by the deadline: Sunday, September 13. Registration and payment cannot be accepted after this date.
Men are asked to volunteer to cook and clean up following the event! Please email kate@perdidiobay.church to let her know you're available to do so!

Young Women’s Bible Study
Tuesdays at 9:00am, beginning tomorrow, August 25
You’re invited to a weekly gathering around God’s word with fellow young women as we begin a new study, Truthfilled, by Ruth Simons. We'll discover how to preach the gospel to ourselves in good times and bad, rest in our identity in Christ, and be filled with the lasting hope found in His Word. If you haven't yet signed-up, feel free to attend anyway! We'd love to have you- all ages welcome!

Disciple Fast Track Fall Class, led by Scott and Elizabeth Hohn
The Biblical books of Genesis and Exodus tell us about how God both creates and redeems us. You are invited to join us for a 12-week study of the books of Genesis and Exodus called Disciple Fast Track: into the Word, into the World.
You will join a group of fellow believers and together you will learn God’s message to us in the Bible and how to apply it to your life. You can join us on either Wednesday at 5:30 PM (starting August 26) or Thursday at 9:30 AM (starting on August 27). The cost of our study guide/workbook is $18. Call the church office to find out more, or just come to class this week to get acquainted!

If you find yourself in need of prayer, a meal, a visit, a prayer shawl, communion at home, etc. during a difficult time, please get in touch with Dudley Tye, Congregational Care Pastor. Activities Center Yoga
If you are looking for a way to build strength, flexibility, and balance, come check out the Tuesday morning yoga classes available in our gym. Becca Schmidt offers Gentle Yoga from 8:30-9:45am and Chair Yoga from 10:00-11:00am. All classes are on a drop-in basis. The cost is $5 for Gentle Yoga and $3.50 for Chair Yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat and beach towel, and wear comfortable attire. No matter your age, you can find a class that suits your needs. If you have any questions, contact the church office to be connected with Becca!

Quilters on the Key
1st, 2nd & 3rd Thursdays, 9:30am-12:30pm
You're invited to join this group for a time of fellowship and quilting in the Activities Center. Quilts and other items are crafted and given to persons facing difficult situations as a gesture of comfort and thoughtfulness. Use your talents to spread the love of God as part of this important group of service and fellowship.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00pm
The Prayer Shawl Ministry exists to knit and crochet blankets and other items of comfort and encouragement. These items are given to newborn babies, those facing health issues, and more. Come and be a part of this group of fellowship and giving- all are welcome! It's a wonderful time of getting to know others while also making a difference for those who need to feel God's care.

Men’s Bible Study: Life Lessons from Revelation

In Max Lucado’s book, “Life Lessons from Revelation,” the following themes are explored:
- God has a plan and a future for the world.
- God will be ultimately victorious over evil.
- There will be a final accounting for our faith and our lives.
- There is a better world in store!

Intercessory Prayer Group Meeting
Tuesdays at 8:30am
You are invited to join our intercessors in the Gathering Lobby for their weekly prayer meeting. If you have a prayer need that you would like to add to the prayer list, email it to prayer@perdidobay.church or you may use our App to submit your prayer request. Additionally, you may fill out a prayer request card at the Hospitality Desk.

Nursery (8 weeks - Pre-K)
A nursery is available for all church services and many activities. Wee Worship takes place Sunday mornings during Worship Services. Preschool Sunday school is at 10:00am. Contact Nursery Director, Maria Garcia-Jones, by emailing nursery@perdidobay.church for more information!

Perdido Bay Kids! (Elementary: K - 5th Grade)
Perdido Bay Kids! is for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grades. Each Sunday morning is Children's Worship at both 9:00am and 11:00am. At 10:00am we have Sunday School. Email elementary@perdidobay.church to be placed on our email list so that you can stay up to date about upcoming activities.

Memorial Brick Pathway
Bricks are available for purchase in memory or honor of a loved one and will be continually added to our beautiful pathways between the Sanctuary and Education buildings. Each brick is 4x8" and costs $50. Visit Hospitality Desk to find out more. We look forward to adding more to this beautiful asset to our campus as a way to remember and honor those we love.
