Morning Drop Off

We are trying 2 drop off points tomorrow. We will all know quickly if it is going to work. If you have children in: Kindergarten (Mrs. Haggerty), 4th, 5th, or 6th/7th grade, please use the primary roundabout. If you have children in Preschool, Prekindergarten, Kindergarten (Mrs. Hughes), 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 8th grade, please use the second drop off in front of the school. Remember, we are using the outside classroom doors for now.

September 9

The amount of time the students spend outside tomorrow depends on the air quality.

Please pray for all of those affected by the fires in our area and in our country.

TAPP (Teacher and Parent Partnership) will be treating the students to an ice cream treat tomorrow at 2:00. They will also be picking up a few popsicle treats for our students who have a milk allergy. If you do not want your child to have a treat or you have concerns about the treat, please give us a call or send a special treat with your child.

Please send water bottles tomorrow. It is going to be warm.

Signed Indemnity Letters

We are requiring both parents to sign the indemnity letters and return them by the start of school tomorrow. These letters were given to parents at Meet-the-Teacher and sent out in a prior e-mail newsletter. Please find the attached letter here. If you have any questions regarding this request, please feel free to contact us at the school office.

Hi! My name is Tracy Moore. I am so excited to be teaching 4th Grade this year. I have been married to my awesome husband for 29 years. We have been blessed with six amazing boys who range in age from 17 to 27. I am the proud grandparent to Nora (5), and Ledger (1), and their soon to be born baby brother- name to be announced at birth! I was fortunate to be able to be home as my boys were growing up, but have spent the last 6 years in education doing a variety of roles. I love to read and enjoy spending time outside. Three of my babies attended Monroe Christian School for preschool and I am honored to be a part of this amazing school and team of educators. I look forward to getting to know all of you as the year progresses.

Our scripture theme for this year is based on Hebrews 11:1-3
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible."
