After celebrating Christmas in July, we now turn to Easter in August!

Pastors Jeff and Michael are wrapping up their summer sermon series, Saving Jesus. This Sunday, Pastor Michael will preach on the Resurrection—the hope that changes everything.

Join us as we celebrate the Risen Christ with joyful music, heartfelt prayer, and a message proclaiming the new life we have in Jesus Christ!

After a short summer break, Praying Together, a community time for intercessory prayer, returns on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. Share prayer requests online or by emailing Pastor Shirley, and they will be lifted by the group. All are welcome—email for the Zoom link.

Sacred Story is a small group which meets on Wednesdays, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Explore the sacred stories found in Scripture, life experiences, and memorable events. Together we discover how God works in our lives. Please email Pastor Shirley for more information or the link. New participants are welcome to join any time!

Rehearsals begin this Wednesday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Kelley Music Room. Whether you’ve sung with us before or are thinking about joining for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to make music, build friendships, and share your gifts in worship.

Another small group returning in September after a short break is Opening to God. We gather for silence, centering prayer, meditation, journaling, contemplation, sharing, and listening to God’s direction in our lives. Please join us for this sacred time. Please bring in water bottles, electrolyte drinks, and nutritional snacks to support Tempe Cooling Centers this summer. We're also collecting hygiene products, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, socks, board games and books through the end of August.
