CHILDREN'S & YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL | |
We will not have Children's Sunday School or Youth Formation this Sunday, September 1, due to the campout and the holiday weekend. Childcare will be available for children up to eight years old in Room 117. Children's worship folders will also be available in the narthex.
Next Sunday, September 8, is Second Sunday and Kids’ Church for all ages will be in Fellowship Hall from 10:00-10:30 with Sunday School (also in Fellowship Hall) from 10:30 - 11:00. NOTE: There will not be Children's Time during the service on Second Sundays, so kids in Pre-K through 6th grade are encouraged to go directly to the Fellowship Hall.

BeTWEEN, our service and fellowship ministry for children in 4th – 6th grade, begins this Wednesday, September 4, with an informational meeting for parents and kids in Fellowship Hall. We have lots of exciting things planned for this year. Please email Andrea if you would like more information, but are unable to attend the meeting. | | |

On Saturday, September 7th, at 4:30 P.M., where you'll experience captivating stories from the talented students of Dar al-Kalima University and from the ground in Palestine. Bible Sunday is coming up on September 15. Dayspring has a tradition of presenting Bibles to all third graders (and older kids who have not yet received Bibles) during the church service. If you would like your child to participate, please email Andrea as soon as possible so she can be sure to order enough Bibles for everyone. | | |

We host our annual Flu Shot Clinic on Sunday, September 15 from 8:30am until noon in Room 112. You do not need to be a member of Dayspring to participate. Costs vary, depending on insurance. Immunizations for persons age four and up. No appointment necessary. | | |

FIRST AID/CPR/AED TRAINING | We are hosting a First Aid/CPR/AED training class on Saturday, September 21, from 9:00-noon in the Fellowship Hall. The program cost is covered for the first 25 attendees. This training is open to the public, but spots are limited. Please email Andrea to register. | | |

REV. YVETTE FLUNDER TO SPEAK | Save the Date! Yvette Flunder, third-generation preacher and voice for justice in the church house, at the White House, and on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court, will preach at our 10am service and speak at 1:00pm in the Sanctuary on September 22. Featured in “Living the Questions,” the Rev. Dr. Flunder is an American womanist, preacher, pastor, activist, and singer from San Francisco, CA. She is the senior pastor of the City of Refuge United Church of Christ in Oakland, California and Presiding Bishop of The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries. | | |
