ORC Pub Night

Want to hang out with your fellow ORC members and friends? The ORC is hosting a Pub Night on September 16th at the Boathouse from 6:00pm to 9:30pm! The event is FREE for members and $5 for non members accompanied by a member at the door. We'll have drinks, snacks, and ORC swag for purchase at the Bar! See you there!

Row with Family and Friends!

ORC will be hosting a Row with Family and Friends event on Sunday September 18 from 10:00am-1:30pm!

Experienced members are welcome to take out guests in a double for a bridge loop. We will have ergs and the on shore practice “boat” out in front if people want to start instruction there. Members will be responsible for instruction and safe maneuvering of their boat.

Launch times will be approximately 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30. No need to sign up in advance. All guests will need to sign waivers when they arrive. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when signing.

We will need at least 3 safety boat volunteers for the morning and a couple of folks to help out with logistics and carrying boats down. Please contact Anna van der Kamp (annavdk@sympatico.ca) if you can help!

There will be no rain date as the fall schedule at the club is too packed. Cancelation due to heavy rain, wind or lightning will be posted on the general Discord channel that morning by 9 am.

This is a great way to share your love of rowing, show off your skills and grow the club!
