Many speeches were made, laughs had, food consumed, and boats named at the event. We wish our junior and senior rowers the best at the Henley race week, which started on August 2nd! Huge thanks to everyone who attended!

Ukrainian Boy Looking for Foster Family!
Meet Nikita, a 16 year old boy from Ukraine. He is a talented rower and diligent student. Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, Nikita’s family were forced to flee. During this time, he has continued to do school online and train on land.

Nikita has obtained a visa to study in Canada. Due to his age, he requires a host family. We would love to find Nikita a home near the club to provide him a place to study and train while his country is unsafe for return. Please contact Melanie Ecklund at  melecklund@gmail.com for more information, and click the button below for the full writeup and details.
