Club Corner

The Hawk Club met at the Kingman Expo Center parking lot on July 7th, 2024 at 4pm to start the club tour. They visited Lilly Sparks' house to see her steer, pig, and chicken and duck. Next, they visited Blake Reese’s house to look at their cow and pig. The third stop was Vaishu Kamesh’s house where she gave a glimpse of all of her projects including rabbit and dog. The club then visited Payton Boos’ house to see her chickens, rabbits, and dog. The last stop was at the Ziegler’s house where they showed their gardens and dog project. The tour was followed by the July meeting and hot dog roast in their backyard. Shirley Boos, the leader, reminded the club members to sign up to volunteer at the concession stand and buyers appreciation meal. She also announced that the fair packets are ready for pickup at the extension office. The cookie jar committee will be meeting on July 9th at 1pm at the Ziegler’s house to work on the cookie jar.. The next meeting will be on August 12, 2024 at 7pm at the Livingstons Community Building.
