Community Café

Wednesdays this Fall

Beginning September 6, all are warmly invited to join us for lunch every Wednesday from 11:00am—1:00pm on the south terrace of Allen House and in Casey Hall. Lunch is free! Bring a friend or three!

D2 Pantry

Chapel of Our Saviour’s July Food Drive was a great success! Thanks to all your generous donations, we exceeded our goal of 500 grocery items and collected 545 items to donate to D2 Pantry. Many thanks to all who participated!

We just received word from D2 Pantry that one of the middle schools in District 2 discovered asbestos in their building and is required to move all operations out of that school until it can be mitigated. Aspire Academy, where D2 Pantry operates, is the chosen relocation for that school in the meantime and they need the pantry space to accommodate students. Therefore, D2 Pantry is taking a hiatus until January of 2024. Chapel will disburse pantry donations to Westside Cares until then as well as contribute to other area pantries—our neighbors still need us!

Godly Play

Children’s Ministry every Sunday, 9:50a

Our children gather in the Loft upstairs from the narthex (church lobby) or in the courtyard (weather-permitting) for a time of exploration and wonder called “Godly Play.” Parents and guardians are invited to sign in upstairs and children rejoin their families during the Offertory. 

If your children haven’t joined us yet, they are most welcome, and we look forward to meeting and getting to know them.
