BRONX CULTURAL VISIONS FUND (BCVF)

DEADLINE EXTENDED - AUGUST 7TH

The application deadline for the Bronx Cultural Visions Fund (BCVF) grant has been extended! Don’t miss the opportunity to obtain a grant ranging between $10,000 and $20,000 for the development of new concepts and the production of new work in the performing arts, including but not limited to live dance, music, theater, performance art, and multi-disciplinary performance work. The new application deadline is August 7th at 11:59 PM.

2024 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT GRANTS (CEG)

The 2024 Community Engagement Grant (CEG) application cycle opens on August 22nd! Bronx-based artists, collectives, and arts organizations are encouraged to apply for New Work, Arts Fund, and Community Arts grants worth up to $5,000. Stay tuned for more details on upcoming info sessions in the fall.

Angela Reynoso

Davalois Fearon is a renowned choreographer working on the concept development of a solo dance piece called "Up/right." The multidisciplinary dance piece blends gymnastic and natural movements while incorporating non-western African diasporic dance forms. Learn more about Davalois.


Armando Pachecho Matos is a poet, writer, and actor working on the production of “Anton: Una Ópera Boricua / Anton: A Puerto Rican Opera," an opera telling the story of a Puerto Rican boy's journey to the Bronx in 1967 through Afro-Puerto Rican music including Bomba, Plena, and Música Jíbara. Angela Reynoso is an actress, playwright, director, and multimedia artist born and raised in the Bronx. Angela is working on the concept development of "The Lambs of the Bronx," a play set in the year 3000 that explores themes of survival through the eyes of two teenagers. Learn more about Angela.
