Reunion is the perfect time to rediscover your alma mater , to visit the place that holds fond memories, and to reconnect with old friends. This year, we invite all classes to celebrate with us and will honor those classes ending in 2 & 7. We hope you will join us on Saturday, September 16, 2017. This on-campus celebration begins with a morning coffee and closes with the Reunion Liturgy followed by a  wine and cheese reception. Fairfield Alumni Club Summer Social
In June, the Fairfield Alumni Group, the longest active alumni club at the University, gathered at the Spinning Wheel Restaurant in Redding, Conn. for a summer social. Alumni, ranging from 1949 - 2020 enjoyed a lovely meal and conversation with President Rhona Free and other USJ representatives.

The Women's Leadership Center at USJ

The Women's Leadership Center at the University of Saint Joseph encourages, empowers and coaches women for leadership roles in their chosen field.
We hope you will join us on on Saturday, September 23 for a n interactive workshop to help women navigate various paths to public service:

Engaging Women in the Community

This half-day workshop will focus on the importance of women leaders in public service, historically and for our future.  Presentations will be given by appointed and elected municipal and non-profit leaders. 
This will be a terrific opportunity to network and learn the essentials to become a candidate for a leadership position at a non-profit or government commission.

TIME Magazine's MONEY recently published their rankings for the best schools in a variety of categories For  "Value-Added All Stars"  - a category comparing graduation rates, earnings, and student loan repayment - USJ was listed in the top 10! Our success in preparing students to be strong candidates across all job markets is clear, as 95 percent of USJ graduates are employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation.

Social Media Ambassadors Wanted


Our Alumni Facebook page conversations have been terrific; engaging alumni  across many decades about their time at Saint Joe's. We would love to hear from even more alumni. That is why we need you! The USJ Alumni Office is looking for 10 alums that are interested in becoming social media ambassadors. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Elevate the conversation through your ideas
  • Generate positive energy on social media
  • Share, comment, like USJ's posts 
  • Encourage alumni to engage with the posts and attend events
  • Time commitment is less than 2 hours a month
  • Help USJ reach alumni, potential students, parents, donors through social media
  • Free admission to a select USJ Alumni sponsored event.

Task Force on Coeducation

The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Board of Trustees unanimously agreed that the University's admission process for full-time undergraduate programs will open to all students in the fall of 2018. Read more about this historic decision.

TriBeta's Rho Zeta chapter celebrating 10 years

TriBeta is a national biological honors society. The Rho Zeta chapter at USJ was formed and inducted it's first members in 2007. On Friday, October 13 they will be celebrating their ten year chapter anniversary on campus in the Crystal Room.
