THE BULLETIN
August 2022

It's staff appreciation month!
August is here and we're celebrating our incredible staff!

Valley Cities has the most dedicated, compassionate, supportive staff we could have hoped for. The warmth and thoughtfulness of our staff has created a place that thousands of clients have come to for services for over 50 years.

Hopefully we can celebrate each other in little ways all year round- but in August, we like to take the month to really remind you how important and appreciated you are! You definitely deserve it!

Don't forget to enter this week's raffle! ENTER HERE!
Valley Cities is holding a raffle for every week this month- we had 114 people enter in the first raffle, and three people won great prizes! Enter this week to win! We draw three winners every Monday. Our next drawing will be Monday 8/22!

Check out what we've done so far for staff appreciation and keep your eyes peeled for more to come!

Valley Cities staff- pictured here, gave out free pens and squishy brains, recruitment flyers and education materials about Mental Health First Aid. Valley Cities tabled at this year's festival to foster community awareness and inclusion. We are so grateful to the staff who make this happen!

Stress Buster Cards
For years now, Valley Cities has printed a rack card with 70 stress busters - activities you can do to calm down or feel better when you are stressed. A client had the idea and we liked it so much that we have continued to update and print new lists periodically over the years.

Here is a link to a PDF of the current card.
Request cards for your program by emailing [email protected]

And if you have any suggestions for stress busters to add or remove from the card, please send those in as well! We'd love your input.

Join us for our next Virtual Town Hall in September
Next Town Hall: Tuesday, September 6th
12pm - 1:30pm
Please enter your suggestions using the link below by August 30th to be considered for the meeting agenda!
