Give your child a unique educational experience up close and personal with animals at the Zoo!

Classes start in September for ages 3-14! Preschoolers (and a caretaker) will get to learn about textures of animals. Children in grades K-1 will learn about some of our favorite species: macaws, leopards, and opossums! Children in grades 2-3 will learn about animal adaptations. And children in grades 4-6 will get to experience a day in the life of a hoofed animal keeper!

We also have a series for homeschoolers that's all about careers working with animals. Homeschool classes are divided up into ages 6-8 and 9-12.

Senior Stroll

Enjoy the Zoo before we open! Sign up for a Senior Stroll around the Zoo. This program is designed for adults 55+, and includes a guided 45-minute walk around the Zoo and ends with a special animal encounter.

Senior Strolls are 9 am to 10 pm, rain or shine. We have two dates available, September 6 and September 20. It’s only $10 per person, and 10% off for Zoo Members.

Stroller Safari

Walk the Zoo with your little one! This program is designed for children ages 0-2 and a caregiver (you can also add on an adult). It includes a guided, 45-minute stroll around the Zoo and ends with a story and animal encounter.

Stroller Safaris are $15 for a child and caretaker, and Zoo Members get 10% off. We have two dates available, September 9 and September 23. Stroller Safaris begin at 9 am, rain or shine.

We’re counting down to Brew at the Zoo, presented by Majority Builders. There’s just a little more than a month to buy your tickets!

This year, we’re thrilled to bring back classic Brew with even more beer, wine, and hard cider samples set up around the Zoo. We have a couple of great musical groups and plenty of food options. Plus, this year you can buy a Brew shirt!
