Using Recovery Language
Wednesday, August 24 (10:30am-12pm)
Funder: SAMHSA
This training will look specifically at the language we use when talking about behavioral health clients. We will compare "traditional model" language with "recovery" language, and explore how to implement "recovery" language to improve client services. This training will follow the tenet that "what I say about clients becomes how I treat clients, and how I treat clients becomes how they treat themselves.”

“This was a great overview- giving enough info on medications but not too much that it was confusing or overwhelming. The presenters were engaging and the interactive polls and questions were a nice touch."
