August 6

• Delta Downs stall applications due for 2025-26 Thoroughbred Meet

August 8

• Stallion Awards to be Mailed

August 13

• Breeders Sales of Louisiana, ad placement deadline for 2025 Yearling Sale catalog

August 15

• LTBA Board of Directors election letters, resumes and photos due.

August 27

• Breeders Sales of Louisiana, ad copy deadline for 2025 Yearling Sale catalog

August 30

• Louisiana Cup Day six stakes races for Accredited Louisiana Breds, Louisiana Downs, Bossier City.
• LTBA Scholarship Drawings; two $1,000 scholarships for current college students. (Registration between 2:35-3:35 p.m. Drawings for two scholarships will occur at the winners circle after the 5th race. Must be present at winners circle to win.)
