LDW Class of 2019 Wall Mural
Thank you to the Leadership Dalton-Whitfield Class of 2019 for selecting a destination wall mural in downtown Dalton as their class project. This mural is located on King Street, so be sure to check it out. The class selected this as their class project when they heard about the great plans for downtown Dalton in the master plan. Class members made a personal contribution to help fund the costs of the mural, in addition to support from the Leadership Dalton-Whitfield Alumni Association, The Dalton Whitfield Community Foundation, and Shaw Industries. Special thanks to Kellie Smith Design Studio for letting us use the wall and to Sherwin Williams for donating the paint for artist Ruth Park. A shout out also goes to Savannah Thomas with the Creative Arts Guild and to Allyson Coker with Believe Greater Dalton and graduating class member, for making this wall mural become a reality.  #daltonyall
Small Business Person of the Year
Do you know a small business person who should be recognized for outstanding service? Nominate them for this prestigious honor that recognizes the best small business in town. The winner will be announced at the Greater Dalton Chamber
 year end Banquet.
Gratefull
No fee. No expectations. No agenda. Just an open invitation.
Gratefull is a free annual city-wide Thanksgiving meal, where everyone is invited to eat together at one long table in the middle of the street. Through Gratefull we are removing barriers and bringing people together from across social boundaries, simply to get to know each other and build understanding. In order to build a city that is an honest reflection of its residents, everyone should be invited to the table. What started as a one-time event in Chattanooga to bring people together has become a quickly growing tradition that spans multiple cities in the southeast, with interest from cities around the country. Mark your calendars for November 25 !
