PREPARING FOR A NO-DEAL BREXIT

Whatever your opinion on the “leave/remain” debate there is now sufficient momentum in the new UK government to engineer the UK’s exit from the EU on 31 October 2019, come what may.
 
As the EU seems reluctant to consider any change to its draft withdrawal agreement, the likelihood of a no-deal Brexit is becoming a real possibility.

CYBER CRIME AND PAYMENT FRAUD

Payment fraud is occurring regularly and all businesses need to act carefully.
 
This fraud occurs when a fraudster pretends to be an existing supplier to a business and attempts to change bank account payee details either by email or forged headed notepaper.

  • First instalment of preliminary tax for "Large Companies" with a financial year ending between 1 - 28 February 2020
  • Returns for accounting periods ending between 1 - 30 November 2018
  • Pay balance of tax due on accounting periods ending between 1 - 30 November 2018
  • Returns of third party information for accounting periods ending between 1 - 30 November 2018

Where returns and payments for RCT, VAT, PAYE/PRSI and Corporation Tax are made electronically, the return and payment deadlines are the 23rd day of the month where relevant
