August News from LPGM

Pictured Above: Girls pose for a photo during the "Girls Talk" session at Irikisango Secondary School in Tanzania. The session focused on setting realistic goals, making independent decisions, and navigating peer influence. The goal was to equip girls with confidence, a clear vision for their future, and the right tools to succeed.

Eripoto Breaks Ground on Exciting Expansion Project!

Pictured above (left to right): Workers start working on the foundation. Safe house girls and Eripoto workers pitch in to help with the project. Workers begin building the walls for the new rooms.

Eripoto is in the midst of building new rooms for their safe house, thanks to your support!

According to Esuvat Lukumay, Eripoto for Girls & Women's founder, "These additions are a significant step forward in the efforts to provide a secure and comfortable space for our girls, as well as those who need our help. We are incredibly grateful for the support we received from both Operation Bootstrap Africa (OBA) and Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry (LPGM) in making this expansion possible. Your continued support means so much to us, and we are truly thankful for your partnership in this mission."

Welcome New Legacy Circle Members

John & Connie Anthony

“Connie and I recently celebrated our 32nd anniversary. Throughout our marriage, it has been important for us to give back. Now, with our children grown, it was a good time for us to take another look at our estate plan. In doing so, we discussed the type of charities that we wanted to include.

Our discussions seemed to focus on charities that centered on the Lutheran Church, education and helping women advance their position in life. LPGM was a natural fit as it covers all three of these.”

John and Connie's sponsored student was recently featured in our Student Spotlight on LPGM's social media.
