CEDIK, the Community and Economic Development Initiative of Kentucky, published an article that explores data on average home values, income, homeownership, and commuting flows. This paper reveals differences in Kentucky counties and regions.
CEDIK finds a disproportion in the number of counties in Eastern Kentucky that have the highest percentage of commuters "making less than $40,000 annually, yet the region’s homeownership is the highest in the state,"
(CEDIK, 2021, p. 2).

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear joined officials from King’s Daughters Health System (KDHS) and UK HealthCare, the clinical health system of the University of Kentucky, in officially celebrating their new partnership in Ashland. Several other state and local lawmakers, dignitaries, and community leaders also attended the event hosted by KDHS.
The partnership, which went live April 1, creates new opportunities for both organizations to better serve patients throughout Kentucky, southern Ohio, and West Virginia by expanding the delivery of specialty health care services throughout the region

Melody Flowers is the Executive Director for Strategic Analysis and Policy. Melody joined the EVPFA team in January 2014, following leadership roles at UK as the Director of Financial Model Implementation and Assistant Director of Strategic Planning for UK HealthCare. Prior to returning to Kentucky, Melody served several years in progressively senior roles in the Office of Financial Strategy and Planning at Harvard University. In addition, Melody brings years of experience from the non-profit and government sectors. Melody, a Singletary Scholar, and Truman Scholar originally from Huntington, WV, earned her bachelor’s in Political Science from UK and her master’s in public policy from Harvard.

Big Interview offers cutting-edge interview advice that is rooted in real-world scenarios and hiring practices. In cases where industry-specific advice is required, Big Interview works with industry hiring managers and industry-specific recruiters to develop content. Big Interview has the most advanced mock interview training tool, allowing users to practice nearly any type of job interview. Users have access to hundreds of practice sets for different experience levels, industries, job roles, and competency areas.
