The presentation, Community Collaboration Amid Rural Workforce Shortages, will be aimed at current administrators and managers in the Mountain West. CME credit is offered. | |
| HYPERTHERMIC INTRAPERITONEAL CHEMOTHERAPY (HIPEC) | Laura Lambert, MD, FACS and Erin Ward, MD, experienced surgical oncologists from Huntsman Cancer Institute, will present on Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) The presentation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 5:30 - 6:30 pm (MT) and is open to any interested healthcare professional, specifically working in oncology. | MEDICAL MANAGEMENT OF DIABETES | Join us Thursday, September 25th, Noon - 1 pm (MT) for a session of the Physician Speaker Series. Amie A. Long, MSN, FNP, will present on Medical Management of Diabetes: Best Practices for Medication Use in Complex Patients. Nurses and providers working with the diabetic adult population will find this learning valuable to enhance their expertise in caring for patients with diabetes. CME credit is offered. |

| 2025 SYMPOSIUM ON ADVANCED CARDIOPULMONARY DISEASE AND TRANSPLANT - VIRTUAL AND BOISE, IDAHO | University of Utah Health is proud to announce the 2nd annual Idaho Symposium on Advanced Cardiopulmonary Disease and Transplant on October 10, 2025 from 7:30 am - 4 pm (MT). ADVANCED TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT COURSE (ATLS)
University of Utah Health offers providers clinical trauma education, including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). The ATLS course teaches a systematic and concise approach to the care of trauma patients. There will be a 1/2 day refresher course on August 23, 2025, held at IMC in Murray. There is also a full, two-day course on September 25 - 26, 2025, on the University of Utah campus. A fee is associated with these courses.
