Riverspire Coaching & Consulting
Riverspire Coaching and Consulting is one of the Emerson's newest tenants and offers Coaching for Transformation, Coaching for Creativity, Coaching for Organizations, and creative writing workshops. Shawnee Spitler guides people through life's journey to live a life they love-professionally, personally, spiritually, in-service, and creatively. As a creative writing instructor, Shawnee facilitates small groups through the creative process. In a former life Shawnee practiced environmental law and consulted for non-profit organizations.

Shawnee wanted to have a studio space in the Emerson since the first time she stepped through the doors. She shared, "The building is alive with a beat and vibrancy of its own. With each step and creak in the wood flooring, I am reminded that the building embodies the greatness we are meant to live through the arts and culture. I envision a society where every person connects with their true potential so that they may live life fully and contribute their ideas, gifts, and talents and the Emerson environment is doing this everyday."

Lobby Gallery
Dragged Through the Collective by Keith VanDePol
July 13 - August 31, 2018
"Another Day at the Beach" by Keith VanDePol
" A painting is the culmination of the artist sifting and sorting the elements available to him and applying these to the completion of the work. As it comes to life, and nears the finish line, it is 'Dragged through the Collective' where all these elements are called into play. A painting is also, I believe, the most successful when it becomes itself. It ceases to represent anything at all except its presence." - Keith VanDePol

Weaver Room Gallery
Works on Paper by  Sukha   Worob
June 29 - August 24, 2018
"Scrolls" by Sukha Worob

This show is an intermingling of foundational elements. Different bodies of works on paper are combined in their various formats to share in a conversation. The show is intended to explore the base elements of visual communication with written communication. Large scale scrolls and grid works will all be on display for the viewer to enjoy.  " As our methods of communication and interaction change and develop, we are presented with the choice to lose ourselves in the noise and broadcast habit of a contemporary culture or allow our connections to become meaningful and add new dimension and a sense of belonging to our lives." - Sukha Worob
All of our galleries are free and open to the public.
