Hello Emerson Friends,
I hope you are healthy and making the best of summer during these challenging times. It is hard to believe that it is already August. It hasn't felt like summer here because we were not able to offer Art Walks, Lunch on the Lawn, and the Garden & Home Tour, and that has been sad for us because we miss seeing you stroll through our beautiful building.
Despite not having some of our favorite programs during summer, we are open for you to visit the businesses and galleries in the Emerson. Perhaps now more than ever you need to make time for a visual getaway. Mask up, sanitize your hands, and take a stroll through our wonderful building. All of our summer exhibits are exceptional and might provide the perfect respite from these unprecedented times. We are here for you and we miss you.
With gratitude,
Susan Denson-Guy
Executive Director

We wanted to show off few masterpieces from our summer art camps!  This year has been an awesome exercise in creative problem solving. THANK YOU to our campers, parents, teachers, and the Emerson community for your support and cooperation. Every single person makes a difference in creating the safest possible space for kids to explore art in summer camps.
Thank you for caring!
We are working to adapt our Fall art programs. Stay tuned for a list of course offerings.

After many magical years on the north lawn, "Taming the Toad" by Mitch Billis moved to his new home in White Sulphur Springs. We are grateful to Mr. Billis for sharing his  charismatic sculpture with us for so long and thank Gallatin Art Crossing for bringing art installations to the Emerson lawns.
We eagerly await the next one!
