Hello,

As new school year programs begin for many, we want to welcome each of you back

from summer, and send you information of importance for Early Care Educators.

Visit our ECESF Events Calendar to stay informed of Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) community oversight and advisory (OAC) and workgroup (SPWG) meetings, and other community events, workshops, and policy meetings.

We especially want to highlight two informational meetings held by Department of

Social Services, Community Care Licensing, San Bruno Child Care Regional Office:

Both are held at City College of San Francisco’s Multi Use Building. Space is limited.

We continue to track Prop C, the citizens’ measure passed in June 2018 raising funds for

Early Care and Education. The Howard Jarvis Tax Association and business groups filed

an appeal last Friday challenging July’s Superior Court ruling upholding the two measures. Their appeal will continue to delay these much-needed funds. See details in the SF Examiner.

Community Care Licensing Workshops

Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing, San Bruno Child Care Regional Office is pleased to announce upcoming Stakeholder informational meetings which will be held at the provided locations.

SF City College, Ocean Campus, Multi-Use Building (MUB) rm 140. Starting at 9:00 am and ending at 12:00 pm.

These meetings are an excellent way of meeting some of our Community Care Licensing staff, and learning more about licensing regulations which affect your facilities, as well as requesting information on specific areas of interest to you. There will be ‘Break-Out’ Groups at these events for participants in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
