Requests from UC's burgeoning Cincinnati Ethics Center
The University of Cincinnati has been busy this summer working to create the Cincinnati Ethics Center, a place that will become the region's epicenter for ethical expertise; a trusted resource providing tools, facilitating conversations and conducting scholarly activities to create a more inclusive, just, equitable and livable community, in Cincinnati and beyond.
As center leaders get going, they have a couple of requests.
First, they invite you to consider subscribing to the center's new YouTube Channel, where you'll find discussions about ethics with university leaders and other videos that enhance awareness, promote civil discourse and justice.
Second, if you work with any undergraduates who might thrive in the Ethics Bowl course PHIL 3015, this year's team is looking for more members. Last year, UC’s first-ever team took home first place in APPE Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl. The class meets 6-8:50 p.m. on Tuesdays and is taught by Daniel Mattox.
Keep watching for more news about the Ethics Center, which will have a physical home in Digital Futures when the building opens next year.
