It’s still summer! We are enjoying every last bit of it in your Cincinnati Parks before school starts again and we move into the beautiful fall season.
Join us Thursday, August 2 at 10 a.m. on the Schmidlapp Event Lawn at The Banks for our last Smale Family Fun day of the season. Special thanks to Ellen & Clark Sole for making the events possible for thousands of children to enjoy.

We are also thrilled to dedicate The Terry K. Family Playground at Alms Park this Saturday, August 4 at 10 am. Join us for this special event with face painters, balloon artists and free cups of UDF ice cream for all!

Alms Playground Dedication - You're Invited!
Smale Family Fun - August 2nd!
If you haven't come for the fun, it's not too late! Smale Family Fun Days is a FREE event and is a wonderful way to enjoy the great outdoors The last one this year is tomorrow, August 2nd from 10am - 1pm at Schmidlapp Event Lawn, 100 E. Ted Berry Way. Face Painters and Balloon Twisters from Rainbow Faces will be onsite at 10:00 am. Be sure to get in line by 12:00 pm so you don't miss out on the fun. (line will be capped at 12:00 pm)

MadCap Puppets will be performing Rumpelstiltskin at 11:00 am and Songs for Seeds will bring their 3 piece band for super fun sing-alongs at noon. In addition, enjoy the magicians, jugglers and stilt walkers from Cincinnati Circus Company and play with hula hoops, lawn games, bubbles and more!

A very special thank you to Ellen and Clark Sole, who very generously sponsored this year's Smale Family Fun Days. Seeing all of the smiles on the children's faces is a beautiful thing. Come see for yourself!

Friends of Parks Golf Outing - Registration is Open!
It's time once again for our Annual Friends of Parks Golf Outing. What better way to celebrate parks than to enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy a scramble game with friends and fellow park enthusiasts. Participation in this outing provides essential support towards the mission of the Foundation to conserve and enhance our city's top-rated urban parks system.

This year's event will take place on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Losantiville Country Club. Registration & Open House will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:00 pm. Cocktails, Buffet, Awards and a Raffle will start at 4:30 pm.

Macy's Makes Good Cents
Cincinnati Parks Foundation has been chosen as one of Macy’s Kenwood’s fundraising beneficiaries in The Big Give Back – Make Good Cents for Your Community round-up campaign. 

From 8/1-8/15, customers will be invited to round up their purchase(s) and donate their change (up to $0.99) to one of the three charities chosen by their store, and they've chosen Cincinnati Parks Foundation as one of their charities! The charity that raises the most funds at each store will receive a matched donation from Macy’s, up to $1,000.

What can you do? Shop at Macy's Kenwood from 8/1-8/15 and choose Cincinnati Parks Foundation as your charity of choice. Thank you, Macy's Kenwood for supporting YOUR Cincinnati Parks!
Rockin' The Roebling!
Wednesdays in the Woods - There's still time!
Join us for free evening performances - every Wednesday at 7pm. All concerts take place at the Burnet Woods Bandstand.
These FREE concerts feature a variety of local performers, hands-on art activities for children, sweet and savory food trucks, and a Community Partner collecting non-monetary donations to aid our neighbors in need. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking, order dinner from the food truck vendors, and to bring product donations to benefit our Community Partner, Project Connect.

Volunteers from the Cincinnati Parks Foundation's Emerging Leaders group will be on-hand to sell beer. Proceeds benefit Cincinnati Parks Foundation. Emerging Leaders is the Cincinnati Parks Foundation's young professional group. Learn more about it here.
