Copper Point Golf Club has a weekly event called the Patio Pitch Off which raises money for a bursary at DTSS. It is held every Friday at 7:00 PM.
You get two opportunities to get your ball closest to the pin for $5, with $2.50 from each entry going towards the bursary and $1 going to a hole in one pot. We have a Men's, Ladies and Junior division.
This year, we have raised $1,725.
Weekly winners take home prizes and a beverage from Moosehead Breweries, and will get invited back for the final shootout co-sponsored by Radius Retreat on Saturday, August 31st.

CART ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITY

Copper Point Golf Club is excited to offer a unique and affordable advertising opportunity for local businesses. Annually, thousands of golfers come to play at our club. Now, your business can reach these affluent customers.
We have advertising opportunities available on 138 Golf Carts this year! We look forward to you and your company becoming an exclusive partner with Copper Point. Your company logo will be placed on both the driver and passenger side of the cart.
The cost is $1200, tax included for the first year. This includes 4 rounds on The Point and 4 rounds on The Ridge Course. Discounts are available for more than one cart.
We offer discounts on cart advertising if you would like to purchase advertisement for multiple seasons. First year is $1200, second consecutive year is $1,000 and third consecutive year is $850.

Every Friday on The Ridge Course between 5:00 - 6:00 PM is Couples Night. For $35 per person, enjoy 9-holes of golf, $10 dining voucher and prizes.

What’s in a number? Well, that depends who you ask!
Recently our Point golf course designed by Gary Browning, was ranked #30 in Score Golf Magazine’s 2019 Top 59 Public Golf Courses in Canada! We are thrilled to be included on that list again (#28 in 2017) and congratulate all the other Top 59 courses! Although we dropped 2 lower spots on the Canadian list (as Kananaskis is back on), we gained a higher spot on the BC list (#10 in 2017 vs #9 in 2019). We are very proud of both golf courses and in particular, the Turf Care team lead by Superintendent Mike Knowles.
The list is not perfect, but it does reflect the current opinion from the Score Golf Raters and Panelists. What do you think?
During my 10 years here, I have never seen the courses look or play better than they do right now. Come Stay, Play and Learn with the whole family!
Perhaps there will be another category in the future, where the mighty Ridge course (Par 62) will be recognized for what it is…The future of golf!

RUNE BARCK MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT COMES TO COPPER POINT
|
The 5th Annual Rune Barck Memorial Tournament is planned for Thursday, September 19th for a 1:30 PM Shotgun on The Point Course at Copper Point Golf Club.
Rune Barck was a local business man, golf enthusiast, family man, friend to many, and a very generous supporter of community initiatives and golf events here in the valley. Cory Rokosh and myself have run events over the past four years to carry on Rune's legacy. In that time the tournament has raised over forty thousand dollars that has been given to local charities.
The format of the tournament is a Texas scramble and everyone is welcome to attend. All golfers will receive a welcome tee gift, 18-holes on The Point Course with cart, dinner, and chance at over eight thousand dollars worth of prizes. A silent auction will also run during the tournament. Cost is $149 for public and $99 for members.
The charity is the Family Dynamix Resource-Development- Advocacy Organization. Through them we have been able to acquire a list and purchase Christmas gifts for children of families in need. Thanks go out to Jacinda Harding, and Lana Osborne-Paradis who personally fill the needs of this list. Former Director of Instruction at Copper Point Golf Club, Casey Johnson started this fund six years ago, and still remains actively involved.
