Good News Recap: August 2020
LCH continues to test for COVID-19 and treat patients suffering from symptoms, but we are also encouraging our patients to return to LCH for routine visits like well child appointments, annual check-ups, and chronic care management. Everyone needs regular clinical check-ins to stay healthy, and we are doing our best to keep all routine appointments safe! Let’s keep social distancing, wearing masks, and washing our hands, but let’s also do whatever we can to keep ourselves healthy and happy during this unusual time. We are still in this together!

Rosa Reflects on LCH Growth
My name is Rosa and I have been an LCH patient since I came to the United States in 1999. When I arrived in this country, I was eight months pregnant with my first child. Arriving in an unknown place without knowing the language, just few weeks before giving birth to my child was stressful, but thankfully LCH was there.
When I got to the office and saw that they spoke my language it was a relief, because I could communicate with the doctor without the fear of misunderstanding each other. At LCH I got the medical care I needed...

In-Person and Telehealth Visits
In-person visits across all of our services and locations continue, along with Telehealth appointments. COVID-19 Testing with Lincoln U
This past weekend, the LCH team joined staff at Lincoln University to help administer COVID-19 tests to new students reporting to campus for their first semester to help ensure a safe start to the school year. Oxford Expansion
Plans are underway for LCH Oxford to move from 303 North Third Street (the Eckman Building) downtown to 14 South Third Street (previously the Sewer Authority) in 2021. We can't wait to bring our integrated care model more fully in Oxford! Read our recent press release.
Behavioral Health
The pandemic has taken a toll on the mental and emotional health of our community. LCH's Behavioral Health Consultants (BHCs) now offer three levels of care in-person and via Telehealth: (1) Integrated Behavioral Health (2) Outpatient Therapy and (3) Psychiatric Medication Management.
