Former publisher and editor Charlotte Cook will teach writers how to break down, analyze, and devise strategies for their writing. Participants must read, reread, and have on handStraightby Dick Francis. Copies of the book are available at the Main Library. Wild Mushroom Identification Hike Around Shaker Lakes: 6-7:30 pm Wednesday, August 25
Join Don King (aka The Mushroom Hunter) for a hike around the Shaker Lakes to find and identify wild summer mushrooms. This outdoor event will be cancelled only in the event of a thunder/lightning storm.
Tutu Time: 3-4 pm Monday, August 16 at Bertram Woods Branch
Create your very own wearable tutu from tulle and ribbons, as you listen to ballet music! We will also read a story about tutus. This event is weather dependent and will be held on the front lawn of the Bertram Woods branch. Best for ages 4 and up.
