Do you remember how in 2023 Capitol Hill Community Council didn't host any election events. If you wanted to see your city council candidates you had to travel to far flung places like Montlake or even Leschi? Well not any more.

We will be co-hosting a Eastlake Community Council/CHCC event with School Board, City Council Position 9 and City Attorney races Sept 29 6:30pm at Montlake Community Center (more info)

(Ok. This event is also in Montlake, but this time we are putting it on.)

CHCC and First Hill Improvement Association in conjunction with the Urban Community Councils will also be hosting the Mayoral Candidates October 21. Details available soon.

As if that is not enough we are thinking of doing a Ballot Party before the election where we can all meet together and have fun while voting.

Help People know what the CHCC is Up To

As the CHCC evolves we are starting to form committees. One of those committees is "Membership outreach and promotion committee" - basically helping get new members and letting people know what we are up to. Maybe that means reaching out to other groups, maybe it means putting a flyer up in building's lobby. We can't do it without you.
