Wentworth-Douglass CEO Greg Walker to retire

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Board of Trustees chair Carol Bailey announced that president & CEO, Gregory Walker, FACHE, will retire from his position on October 31, 2020. Bailey praised Walker for his hard work and commitment to the organization, which started nearly 24 years ago.

CPA Brieanna Pettengill promoted to Manager

Seacoast Education Endowment of Dover (SEED), a non-profit organization that promotes academic excellence by providing innovative learning grants to Dover educators, recently awarded Dover High School’s Arijs Hendrarto the 2020 Harvey Knepp Scholarship. Valued at $1,000, this annual scholarship is given to a graduating senior who is considered the unsung hero for dedication to the DHS school community and culture.

Seacoast Cancer 5K goes virtual in 2020
The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Foundation Board of Directors has announced that the Seacoast Cancer 5K, originally scheduled for Sunday, September 20, will take place virtually in 2020. The move to a virtual format is a result of the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and a precaution to protect the health and safety of those in the greater Seacoast community.
