“Sportsmanship is making sure you have respect for the person you're playing across from.― Warren Moon

Dear T&C Families and Friends,

Even though the summer heat is still hanging on, the start of a new school year means fall is just around the corner. And with that, we’re excited to welcome everyone back to T&C for what’s sure to be another great fall sports season!

There’s still time to register for many of our programs—but a few are starting to fill up. If you haven’t signed up yet, now’s the time. We’d love to see your kids out on the fields this season!

Our wonderful maintenance team has been working hard all summer to get everything ready. Thanks to their efforts (and a little help from some much-needed July rain), the campus is looking great and ready for action.

To kick things off, we’re hosting our 4th Annual Family Fun Day on Labor Day—September 1st—over on the Meadowheath side of the complex. It’s one of our favorite traditions and a great way to reconnect, meet new families, and have some fun before the season gets into full swing. You’ll find more details about it later in the newsletter, but I hope you’ll plan to join us!

Along with weekly practices and games, we’ve got a full lineup of special events this fall—like Dell Diamond Night, our “Help Every Kid Play” Golf Tournament, the always-popular Trunk or Treat, and our Thanksgiving Turkey Trot. Be sure to check your email, visit our website, and follow us on social media so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.

We can’t wait to see the fields full of energy again and are looking forward to another season of teamwork, fun, and community. If you haven’t registered yet, don’t wait—spots are going fast.

I hope you and your family had a great summer, and I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces—and meeting some new ones—around campus this fall.

SPORTS SHOWCASE

Our Town and Country, mixed with NAO, 12U girls, Spring All-Star team goes to the Dell Diamond to watch the Voltz and Bandits play in the inaugural AUSL softball season.

The 4-game series, hosted in Round Rock, sold out every single game, and proved true to the statement that "everyone watches women's sports."

Town and Country hosts our first ever Girls Olympic Sports camp. Showcasing 3 sports our athletes will be able to watch on the big screen in the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics, Softball, Lacrosse, and Flag Football.

Girls and boys grades K-8th grade joined former LSU/Pro athlete Eric Monroe for a fun, fast-paced football camp on Saturday, August 4th. The group picture below was taken at the Football Camp when the kids found out that Canes Donated food to all the players who participated!

The picture below is of a first-time player “raising the roof” after completing a football drill and coming in first place at the football camp.
