This month, our ERS employee spotlight is on Software Specialist, Curt Patrick. Curt began his career with ERS in 2007. Before joining ERS, he held several positions in the information technology space, including a position as a Help Desk intern at ZF Boge Elastmetall, as a programming intern at Disabled American Veterans, as a data analyst intern with Domin-8 Enterprise solutions and was a founding Web Developer in the Center for Applied Informatics at Northern Kentucky University. Curt graduated from NKU in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems.
Curt states that his favorite part of his job with ERS is solving problems for customers, whether he is designing a custom fix or simply providing advice. He says, "It is very satisfying when I am remembered at a later meeting because of a good experience. It is a good feeling to know that I have my clients' trust and that their needs have been met."
Curt grew up and currently lives in Northern Kentucky with his 18-year-old son, Mark, who recently graduated from high school and has recently started his first "real" job. Curt enjoys learning about technology in his spare time as well as hiking and taking fishing trips. Curt's other interests include the stock market, coin collecting and cooking, especially Chinese food.
