The Tampa City Council has approved an updated vision as part of the 2045 Tampa Comprehensive Plan: “Tampa is an inclusive, sustainable, and resilient city; where the natural environment, historic character, and a diversity of cultures enable a vibrant setting for all.” The City Council approved the statement on July 28 following a presentation on the status of the Comp Plan update. The Comp Plan is set to be completed in mid-2023 following updates to the Water, Future Land Use, and Mobility sections. Visit the Comprehensive Plan website for more information.
