North Seattle French School:
Moving to Shoreline this Fall! Enrollment still open.
Have you ever considered bilingual education for your child? This fall, North Seattle French School (NSFS) is moving to a new, larger location in Shoreline and is still accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year!

NSFS, an independent preschool and elementary school, offers an engaged community, small class sizes, instruction by native speakers, and a focus on social-emotional learning in a bilingual environment. The new location significantly increases the school’s classroom space, allowing NSFS to expand and offer a full-time pre-school in years to come.

The new campus boasts great amenities like access to a play field and indoor recreation, and is well-positioned for students and families coming from both North Seattle and the northern suburbs. With this larger space facilitating continued growth, NSFS is still accepting applications for preschool through 5th grade for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. No French language experience is needed for students entering preschool or kindergarten. To learn more, please visit the NSFS website , contact the office via email or call 206-365-1034.

Trade and Events Assistant Intern
At the end of July, the FACC-PNW said goodbye to our Trade and Events Assistant, Etienne Delage. Etienne worked at the Chamber for 6 months, arriving in Seattle back in January. When asked about his experiences and future plans, Etienne said:

"As I am leaving the French-American Chamber of Commerce, I would like to thank all the members of the board of directors and Mr Jack Cowan for trusting me in taking part of this internship. I am very grateful to have been able to take part of this professional and human adventure at the FACC-PNW.  I would like to thank Mr Jack Cowan, Mr Eric Beaulieu and Mrs Lindsey Townsend for welcoming me in the FACCPNW team and for supporting me during the past 6 months. After I leave the FACC-PNW, I will be pursuing a Master Degree in International Business and Company Strategy at Sciences Po Toulouse, with the hope of coming back to Seattle to work soon. I would like to thank all of the people who were part of my journey, and all of the people I had the chance to work with along the way!"

Please join us in thanking Etienne for his time spent at the FACC-PNW. Interested in taking over Etienne's position? Please see instructions to apply for our Trade and Events Assistant Internship on our website.
Partnership Opportunities
Sponsor the 27th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival this fall!
On November 22, the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest will host the 27th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival at the Columbia Tower Club in downtown Seattle. The event is attended by about 500 French and Francophone professionals in Washington State, including many wine and food enthusiasts. All funds raised directly benefit the Chamber’s mission as a small non-profit by supporting our staff, our J-1 interns, and our community engagement.

We offer many opportunities for companies and individuals alike to support our work by sponsoring the event, donating to our silent auction, or by purchasing a table for the night. As a sponsor, you will:
  • Gain visibility within the French-American community
  • Meet and network with potential collaborators and clients
  • Bond with your colleagues at one of Seattle’s most iconic venues
  • Entertain your clients and/or reward employees
