The 2019 Season can't be beat!

While some of you may be trying to squeeze in your last moments of summer, we are ready to begin our 9th season! There are so many new classes, styles and opportunities for your dancers to be a part of and enjoy. Check out the 2019-20 schedule and register today.

The 150th student to be registered will receive an AFPA Prize pack and a $50 credit to the AFPA store!

Congratulations to Jen Kalis! Jen received free August tuition for her daughter Avery! She was the 100th student to register for the 2019-20 season!

As you can see Avery is already quite the little entertainer and we can't wait to watch her rock the stage again this year!

Be a part of AFPA's first full Ballet, directed by our very own ballet teacher Miss Lainie! Auditions are right around the corner. Dancers must be enrolled at AFPA to participate.

10 Ways you can support your child's dance education and experience at AFPA!

Help your child arrive to class on time. We know it can be tough some days, but it helps us ensure they are properly warmed up!
Encourage your child to stick to the AFPA dress code. This helps us instill discipline and unity amongst the class.
Understand that failure and resiliency are part of dance class and that we try to create a safe space so they can learn these life skills.
Attend performances and informal showings when you can. You being there will mean more to your child than you will ever know.
If there's an opportunity for your child to attend, see or discuss dance, encourage them to do so.
Help your child pick nutritious snacks to have before and after dance. Dance is rigorous and requires good fuel for their bodies.
When your child feels discouraged about not getting somethingin class, reassure them. Dance is hard and takes a lot of practice and perseverance to master.
Take interest in what they are doing in class. Ask your child about what they are currently learning in dance.
Let your child explore their physicality. Many skills are learned kinesthetically.
Know that we care about your child's dancing, be we care more about their growth as humans.
