Canned & Dry Dog, Kitten & Cat Food Always Needed

With so many mouths to feed, we are always in need of canned and dry kitten/cat/dog food.  Any brand and kind will do.  We've made donating very easy, through our amazon wish list.  The wish list contains items that are most often needed.  If you would like to donate, click on below to start donating.
Thank you so very much for all of your support and donations in whatever way they come to the shelter!  We cannot do what we do without you!
July 23 "Clear The Shelter" Empty Cages -- What a Beautiful Sight!
July 2016 Adoption Numbers

The month of July 2016 saw 259 once homeless pets find homes and get ADOPTED!

On July 23rd, NBC Washington promoted "Clear The Shelters."  The goal was to waive adoption fees and Clear The Shelters!  We participated in this wonderful event, along with hundreds of other shelters across the country.

Out of the 259 pets adopted in July, 63 were adopted on July 23 to Clear The Shelter!  It was a happy and busy day!

Waiving adoption fees takes a financial toll on our shelter, but we were determined to make it work and find homeless pets homes!  The most beautiful site is seeing empty crates and cages cleared!

The shelter will be CLOSED all day to the public on August 16, 2016.
