JUDITH PECK EXHIBITING OUTDOOR STEEL SCULPTURES AT WARWICK VALLEY WINERY


Judith Peck’s outdoor sculptures in steel, “Falling Woman” and “Reclining Woman,” are on exhibit at the Hudson Valley's Warwick Valley Winery in Warwick, NY. The exhibit is curated by the Paul Larson Gallery of Saddle River, NJ. Viewers can sample wines and spirits from the tasting room including farm-to-glass ciders, while roaming the grounds, enjoying live music, eating at the cafe and admiring the sculptures. The works will remain on exhibit through the fall.

"ONE MAN IN MEMORY OF SIX MILLION" RESTORED BY PROFESSIONAL CONSERVATOR

Judith Peck’s sculpture “One Man in Memory of Six Million” has been has been treated and enhanced by the professional conservator, Douglas Distefano of Monument-Conservation Partners thanks to funding by Ramapo College of New Jersey where the sculpture is on permanent display. The seven-foot tall outdoor bronze piece was donated to the College by Yvonne Lorber whose family perished in the Holocaust. "I appreciate the College's dedication to the meaning of this monument by engaging MCP," says Peck. "This piece will continue to stand as a silent reminder for decades to come of this bleak historic tragedy". See video discussion about the meaning and inspiration for this important work.

Choices: The Man Woman Thing

SELECTED FOR MORA MUSEUM EXHIBIT

Deciding what type of person she will be today is the theme behind Judith Peck’s intriguing sculpture: Choices: The Man Woman Thing”. This lifesized sculpture in mixed media has been selected for exhibition at the Mora Museum of International Art in Jersey City October 25 to November 23, 2025. NEW EDITION OF "ART AND SOCIAL INTERACTION" COMING SOON

In October, the second edition of Judith Peck's text book Art and Social Interaction: How College Students Spark Creativity, Purpose and Joy in Institutional Settings will be published by Routledge Press. The culmination of decades of experiential teaching at Ramapo College of New Jersey, the book lays out how students can deploy visual arts activities to benefit individuals in jails, nursing homes, pschiatric facilities, domestic abuse shelters and youth care centers - all while cultivating students' sense of community engagement.
