Moving Through Life’s Adversity
What does this world need right now? What do you need right now? There is so much around us that is unsettling and disturbing and yet we want to breathe and find ways to make it better because we cannot give up! Sometimes that means we need to take a moment and ponder life and what it has to offer. We then need to reset our rudder, then charge ahead! Mother Teresa wrote a poem that I must admit, from time to time, should be re-read. It is all about life and perhaps another way to approach it especially during troublesome times as these. Here it is:
“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”
May you take some time to move forward with the fortitude to do something positive when times seem tough. We each have it in us, we just have to dig down deep! Remember, life is too precious.
