A man went to his lawyer and told him, "My neighbor owes me $500 and he won't pay up. What should I do?"

"Do you have any proof he owes you the money?" asked the lawyer.

"Nope," replied the man.

"OK, then write him a letter asking him for the $5,000 he owed you," said the lawyer.

"But it's only $500," replied the man.

"Precisely. That's what he will reply and then you'll have your proof!"

Fire Avert Electric Stove Safety
Do you worry about leaving the stove on accidentally? The best way to prevent or stop a stove fire is by simply turning off the stove before there is any fire, and that is exactly what Fire Avert does. Fire Avert intelligently turns off the stove before there is any fire. Fire Avert is continually monitoring for the sound of your smoke alarm. When your smoke alarm sounds from food left on the stove, Fire Avert will turn off the stove before there is any fire. As seen on SharkTank. Visit www.fireavert.com for more information.

testimonialWe're Delighted to Hear from Families About Our Exceptional Care!

A Satisfied Client's Review:

"We were very distraught with what to do with Mom because we are trying to keep her at home as long as we possibly can. When we did get the approval for it [ Visiting Angels' Veterans Program], Visiting Angels started coming in 3x a week. Nieces and nephews that have just recently visited her have all said that they saw a big difference in her outlook and attitude--she smiles and is more attentive with everybody. [Having Visiting Angels] has done a 180 turn for her. The staff has been phenomenal. Ana is the supervisor, and she has been on top of it. If any changes are made, she's on the phone with me. She's really quick to call me to let me know if anything's happening, like if somebody is running late or if somebody is early. I mean, she is on the ball with anything and everything! Lakeya is the caretaker that is coming and helping with my mom. She has been a true blessing to have. Mom loves having her there to chat with her...Mom even cuts me off when I call when she's there; she'll tell me to call back later because her 'friend' is there. She's bonding with her, which is a great thing to see. I will definitely give Visiting Angels 5 stars with some plus signs!"

angelsAngels Who Soar: Celebrating Our Hardworking Employees

We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working employees who go beyond the call of duty. Below is why our Angels are so special...

Lyndsey B. recently celebrated her 2-year anniversary with Visiting Angels. We so appreciate her loyalty to both our company and to our clients. She's a very compassionate aide and goes out of her way to make sure every client is well taken care of!

Monica B. is well-liked by every client she services. She's always willing to help the Care Management Team and accepts additional assignments with very short notice. We especially love that she always has a big smile on her face! She recently started service with a client; the client quickly gave feedback that he likes her very much and thinks it will be a long-term association!

Thank you, Lyndsey and Monica! We appreciate your hard work and diligent care of our clients.

AboutOurCareAbout Our Care

Visiting Angels is a New Jersey-licensed, non-medical home care company committed to going well beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones. Our "Angels", all certified home health professionals , are ready to provide compassionate and dependable assistance with the activities of everyday living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery and to those who are simply frail. Our services include such simple tasks as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands and shopping to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing and grooming.

Visiting Angels ' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue to live at home and maintain the independence of their daily routines and familiar surroundings, safely. We truly understand how challenging and alien the entire home care selection process can be...and we are experienced in working with families; with loved ones "resistant" to receiving care; and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs) to help insure that the best interests of the family and their loved ones are met.

Visiting Angels' services help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenge of long-distance caregiving.
