FAMILY FARM DAY

Saturday, August 26, 2023

On Saturday, August 26, 2023, CCE celebrates their 11th Annual Family Farm Day (FFD) that will include open house events at farms from Schoharie, Otsego, and Delaware Counties.

The 2023 Family Farm Day Guide will be your map to this year's participating farms. (Be sure to download while in regions with stronger signals as the file is large.) A ‘Key to Symbols’ indicates farm event features such as tours, rides, activities, samples, bathroom facilities, and the opportunity where possible to be close to farm animals. Most importantly, take time to be acquainted with our region’s talented and resourceful farmers. Click here for more info!

WAC and Pure Catskills sponsor this family event!

DELAWARE COUNTY FAIR

The Watershed Agricultural Council, Pure Catskills and NYC DEP had a great week at the Delaware County Fair! We had Participant signs displayed by most of our farms showing livestock, a great soil sample demo, forage competition with our partners at CCE Delaware County, and a Red-tailed Hawk Release done by DEP. It was a great week for all at the 136th Annual Delaware County Fair in Walton, NY!
