IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES GUIDELINES
Big Brothers Big Sisters is following NJ state guidelines related to COVID-19. We have updated our COVID safety policies to reflect the most recent updates -- see the link below to review the guidelines. In regards to face masks – they are no longer required in most outdoor and indoor settings, however unvaccinated individuals should continue wearing a face covering in public spaces - especially indoors - to protect yourself and others. We ask that you follow these recommendations and discuss mask wearing and activities with each other (parent/guardian/volunteer/child) when planning outings. 
THE WETLANDS INSTITUTE
The Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor offers a treasure trove of fun! Join them for one of their free workshops or events to celebrate the amazing environment we get to call home. They have all kinds of exciting options such as salt marsh safaris, crabbing, creature features, bird sanctuary tours and more!
VISIT THE FUNNY FARM
RESCUE ANIMAL SANCTUARY
Funny Farm Rescue Animal Sanctuary in Mays Landing has created a home for unwanted farm animals, domesticated animals and animals with special needs to live out their natural lives. Head to this 15-acre farm and visit with more than 600 animals!
ATLANTIC CITY AIR SHOW
The airshow returns on Wednesday, August 18 at 11:30am. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will be debuting a new demonstration to the public for the first time in nearly 40 years. The show will be viewable from the AC boardwalk and beaches.
TAKE A WALK IN CAPE MAY COUNTY
The Biomedical Club at Lower Cape May Regional High School created a website of great places to take a walk in Cape May County. The video clips include location, amenities, distance, and other useful information. This is a great resource for all who are interested in healthy living. 
REGAL CINEMAS $1 MOVIES
This summer NJ Regal Cinemas will show select G and PG rated movies for only $1 a showing. The movies will be shown on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10am. Movies include Madagascar, Secret Life of Pets, Goosebumps and more!
BACK TO SCHOOL BASH - AUG. 28
Asbury United Methodist Church in Egg Harbor Township is holding a Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 28 from 1-4pm. All are welcome to join!
COVID UPDATES FOR
THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR
All students will be back for full-time, in-person instruction for the 2021-2022 school year. All students, educators, staff, and visitors will be required to wear face masks inside of school buildings, regardless of vaccination status, for the start of the 2021-2022 academic year. PARENTING TIP: ESTABLISH CODE WORDS FOR YOUR TEENS TO USE
This article offers great ideas for your teens to utilize when reaching out to you for help getting out of an uncomfortable social situation they may be in. This way they avoid feeling embarrassed or getting teased for going home.
ATLANTIC CAPE FAMILY SUPPORT ORGANIZATION
This organization is a wonderful resource for families in Atlantic and Cape May Counties with children who have mental health, behavioral, substance abuse, or intellectual or developmental challenges. They offer support groups for parents and grandparents, active parenting classes, a warmline for telephone support for caregivers, a food pantry, and much more.
