2025 CA HPV Vaccine Week Campaign Guide & Social Media Toolkit

California HPV Vaccine Week 2025 is next week! This annual statewide observance takes place the first full week of August and highlights the importance of HPV vaccination as cancer prevention. This year, CA HPV Vaccine Week is August 3-9, 2025. The focus is on encouraging HPV vaccination for children ages 9-12, with a goal of protecting more California youth from HPV-related cancers.

 

This year they have created a revised campaign guide with updated and new ready-to-use messaging and social media assets. Additionally, we are pleased to promote the upcoming webinar The Power of Starting HPV Vaccination at Age 9  on Thursday, August 7th.

The California HPV Vaccine Roundtable is hosting 'The Power of Starting HPV Vaccination at Age 9', during CA HPV Vaccine Week (August 7th at 12-1pm PST). This virtual session will highlight the latest evidence supporting the routine recommendation of HPV vaccination starting at age 9 as well as real-life success stories from health systems that have made this change.

"The Vaccine Integrity Project (VIP) issued its final report summarizing its findings from the exploratory phase, focused on what is needed to ensure the integrity of the U.S. vaccine system, including vaccine evaluations and clinical guidelines based on rigorous and timely reviews."

Background:


The Vaccine Integrity Project was formed to promote the continued grounding of immunization policies and programs in the best available science and focused on optimizing protection of individuals, families, and communities against vaccine-preventable diseases.

The National Conference for Immunization Coalitions and Partnerships (NCICP) is the only national conference solely dedicated to collaboration and partnership as a way to improve immunization uptake, educate our communities, and prevent the spread of disease. The conference is an engine to improve immunizations and public health issues by sharing successful strategies that strengthen the work our coalitions and partnerships accomplish together.


Though early registration ends August 1, 2025, registration will continue through October 2. Hope to see you in Indianapolis!
