Right here in Wayne, Chanticleer is one of the greatest gardens of the region. It is a true colorful and contemporary garden within a classic historic setting. Take a visit to see why Garden Design magazine calls it "America's most inspiring garden!"
Sit and enjoy the views. Relax, read, converse, meditate. Feel the sun on your back and the grass beneath your feet as you listen to the birds and enjoy the scents of the garden.
Chanticleer is open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, and on Friday evenings until 8:00 p.m. until Labor Day. The 2017 season
ends on October 29th!

Uplifting, stimulating!
This refreshing aroma is usually found in day-to-day candies, toothpaste, and chewing gum.
Apply 1-2 drops of this essential oil to your skin and feel its warming effect. Especially excellent to use for a soothing massage, or in warm bath water. A little goes a long way, so use sparingly!

Movement of the Month:
Hand Weights
|
Yes, light hand weights can be added to your Pilates class or private session ~ and there are many benefits of doing so!
1. Muscle Toning: Key to adding weights is good form. Recruiting extra effort all the way from your core! Muscles in your arms, back, shoulders, neck, chest will all benefit.
2. Burn Calories: Every little bit counts! Using weights will increase the amount of energy you use, and give a little push to the amount of calories you burn.
3. Core Awareness: Using weights is a different way to send attention, information, and energy back to your core. Hand weights will create extra stability work for your shoulders, core, and pelvis.

Food of the month: Summer Salmon
|
One of the most nutritious foods on the planet! Good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, protein, vitamin b, antioxidants... the health benefits go on and on!
Here's how we like it:
Angelina's Recipe:
-Season salmon with olive oil, sea salt, pepper, and basil
-Bake in oven at 400 for 15-20 minutes
-Drizzle freshly squeezed lemon on top
-Color the finished plate by serving with sweet potato, broccoli or asparagus

An inspiring race for an important cause... Help to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by lung disease by running this challenging but beautiful course!
