For the record, a school with a high acceptance rate not being a good school is a MYTH, because what’s more important to look at is the caliber of students being admitted (average GPA, test scores) rather than the acceptance rate itself.
100% responded that for those on a strict budget, it DOES make sense to apply to private colleges. This is TRUE! Oftentimes, students may receive merit and/or financial aid package(s) that cover a significant portion of private school’s tuition, essentially matching or besting a public school’s tuition rate.
