In July, the Semmes Police Department began taking applications for officers. Applications can be picked up at City Hall or the new Public Safety Complex. Become a part of this new Police Department!
The Semmes Fire Training Center was recently approved to become a Regional Fire Training Facility. This will allow the department to conduct a broader range of more advanced education for fire fighters in the area and aid with recruitment.
Semmes Police Receive Grant
The Semmes Police Department recently received a grant for $13,000 from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The grant will be used to purchase police vests for the entire department.
