PD Avengers Community Pulse is an ongoing way for people across the global Parkinson’s community to tell us what they are experiencing, what matters most, and where action is needed.

It is open to everyone connected to Parkinson’s, including people with Parkinson’s, care partners, family and friends, healthcare professionals, movement disorder specialists, researchers, advocates, community leaders, and people working in Parkinson’s organizations and industry.

Getting started takes about five minutes. Complete our one-time onboarding survey, and you’ll receive a unique six-digit Community Pulse Code.

Stop Speaking for Us. Start Listening to Us.

Centering the voices of those directly affected by Parkinson's remains essential for meaningful progress in research and care. Esther Labib-Kiyarash reflects on her advocacy journey following a Young-Onset Parkinson's diagnosis to highlight why community perspectives must guide the conversation.

To drive real change, PD Avengers is launching community pulse surveys to gather direct feedback on research disruptions, clinical trials, and funding challenges from both patients and professionals.

So...Your Friend Has Parkinson's

In “So…Your Friend Has Parkinson’s,” Michael and Harrison have a candid conversation about showing up for a friend with Parkinson's — from navigating changes in handwriting to staying connected and helping counter social isolation.

The video taps into the chemistry Michael and Harrison share in the Apple TV Emmy-nominated series "Shrinking". It uses gentle humor to bring the urgency — and tremendous promise — of Parkinson's research to a broad audience.

Be a friend. Watch, share and help us cure Parkinson’s:

The project explores the experiences of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and utilizes artificial intelligence to recreate the voice of a subject to facilitate communication. Support groups and organizations are encouraged to hold their own screenings of the film.
